JF&CS has an annual food drive around the Atlanta area to stock their Kosher Food Pantry.
Volunteers are needed per the schedule below from Oct 5-9 to pick up the food and bring it back to JF&CS.
Please consider signing up for one or more times.
A JF&CS Truck will have necessary cartons/crates for food pickup at the various sites. Volunteers will help transfer the food from the barrels into the cartons/crates and put them on the JF&CS Truck.
Depending on the day, there may be more than one location. The truck will proceed to the next Synagogue and the process will be repeated.
After the truck has been loaded, follow it back to JF&CS, help unpack it, and bring the food boxes into the building.
SHIFTS INCLUDE
Mon, 10-5: morning to mid-afternoon
Tues, 10-6: morning to mid-afternoon
Wedn, 10-7: afternoon only
Thurs, 10-8: afternoon only
Fri, 10-9: morning to mid-afternoon
