March 2026 Presentation - Guest Speaker Les Kraitzick

Our March OLM program on Thursday March 19 will be a celebration of HOD's expansion to North America, initiated by the founding of Lodge Carmel.  The speaker will be founding member Worthy Brother Les Kraitzick.  The program will include a welcome for past Carmel presidents.  As always, we start at 7 PM at Congregation B’nai Torah.  Please RSVP by Sunday, March 15 so that we can order food.

About the Speaker: The Hebrew Order of David's presence in North America began when WB Les founded Lodge Carmel in 1999 and served as our first president.  Other lodges in the US and Canada then originated from Carmel, and the heart of the Order is now here.  Les came to Atlanta in 1977 from Capetown, South Africa, where he was a member of Lodge Kineret.  Les will tell us about the early days of Carmel with stories of him and his colleagues, many of whom are still in the lodge.
