Details and Bio:

Cheryl Dorchinsky is a Jewish community leader, activist, and advocate for Israel, based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the founder and executive director of the Atlanta Israel Coalition (AIC), a grassroots nonprofit established in 2018 to unite pro-Israel voices across diverse faiths and backgrounds. Under her leadership, AIC has organized over 100 educational programs, rallies, and international initiatives aimed at combating antisemitism and anti-Zionism, including a global multi-faith mission to Israel and a live virtual tour series spotlighting Israeli cities and heritage sites and after October 7th. Dorchinsky’s dedication to Israel advocacy has earned her significant recognition. In 2023, she received the Zionist Legacy Award from the World Zionist Organization, honoring her impactful work in strengthening Jewish identity and fostering global connections to Israel .She has also contributed to national efforts against antisemitism, supposing and advising others who want to make a difference and get their communities involved.
Beyond her organizational leadership, Dorchinsky is a voice in the Jewish community social media world, regularly contributing holiday reflections and thought pieces to others globally . Her guiding philosophy emphasizes unity and collective action, encapsulated in her belief that “together we are stronger, our light shines brighter, and we can be a greater force of good within our community and across the globe”. She has 2 wonderful sons, 2 rescue cats and dog and an HOD member as her incredible husband.
