Hebrew Order of David Visits the Atlanta History Center Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival Executive Director Jody Pollack led a group of his Hebrew Order of David brothers and their wives on a tour of the Atlanta History Center’s Barbecue Nation exhibit on February 24 to answer that and other questions important to the HOD managers of the (ever expanding) Atlanta Kosher Barbecue Festival which will be celebrating its 7th year on Sunday, September 8 at City Springs in Sandy Springs. Additional quotes: Jody Pollack: “I’m very proud to see our Festival recognized for our contributions to the community” Steven Zedeck: "The Atlanta History Center is an amazing place, well thought out, and is a "must see" on anyone's visit to Atlanta" Stan Sloan: "Proud to see our HOD Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival Grand Championship trophy displayed front and center joining the diversity of BBQ artifacts, images, and oral histories from across the country." Mark A. Weiss: “It’s always special to visit the Atlanta History Center. But to experience the excellent “Barbecue Nation” and “Turning Point: The American Civil War” exhibits was a big double win. I can’t wait to return to see the Cyclorama and climb aboard the restored Texas locomotive! Thank you AHS for opening your doors to the Hebrew Order of David.” |
